Copy Last Result

If you are not using the calculator app and still want to copy the last result that popped on your calculator, there’s an easy way to do that. All you have to do is long-press the calculator app on the home screen. Then it will show you options in which one will be of copying the last result. 

Take Siri’s Help

If you’re annoyed with doing each calculation yourself, there’s an easy method to make someone else do the work for you. You can ask Siri to carry out the tasks for you. All you have to do is engage Siri and ask about the problem. It will then do the work for you and tell you the answer. However, in some tough equations, Siri might not look towards the calculator app for help. It might show results from safari. 

Your Phone Speaks The Number

If while calculating, your result comes back with a strange number for you to interpret, you can make your iPhone speak that number for you. To enable this mode, long press the number and it will show you certain options.

Out of which you will click on the option of “Speak”. An option of “Spell” will also be there in the list which will allow you to understand each number individually. If you don’t get these options in the calculator app, enable them through settings > accessibility. 

Calculate Elsewhere On iPhone

You know that it’s entirely not important to perform calculations in the calculator app. There’s another place on your iPhone where you can easily perform calculations. While sitting on the home screen, swipe down to enable spotlight search. Then perform your equation there and you’ll see the result imminently. 

Change Calculator’s Colour On iPhone

Well, it’s a tough thing to change your calculator’s colors but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Dark Mode was a hail mary in some aspects as it changed every bright color into a darker one. But the calculator app already takes a dark theme.

You can take some help from a classic invert to make it look different than usual. Follow these instructions to toggle it on. Open settings. Go to Display and Text Size. Then you’ll find a Classic Invert option there, click on it and you’ll be good to go.
